Diversity of wildlife

Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black and white rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded inlcuding Secretary Birds and African Fish Eagles.

Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage

An excursion to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphange offers a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the conservation work being carried out by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust of rescuing orphan elephants, rhinos, and other species, raising them with specialist care, and reintegrating them back into the wild. This experience is included in your stay at Ololo.
