We designed this itinerary to give you time to enjoy two very different sides of Kenya. Start with three nights at Ololo Lodge & Farm, our home overlooking Nairobi National Park, before heading to Enkewa Camp for four nights of game drives, wildlife and the open landscapes of the Masai Mara.
It is a great mid-season option for families, couples and friends looking for a more relaxed safari with plenty of time to enjoy each place.
Set on the edge of Nairobi National Park, Ololo Lodge & Farm is our family home, where you can combine wildlife, farm life and a relaxed stay just outside Nairobi.3
Ololo is a little different from a traditional safari lodge. We have created it as a home where you can slow down, enjoy good food from our farm, and still have the chance to see wildlife in Nairobi National Park. With three nights here, there is time to settle in, explore the farm, enjoy the gardens and make the most of the park on our doorstep.
Spend your days exploring Nairobi National Park on game drives, or take things at a slower pace at the lodge. You can meet our farm animals, wander through the gardens, enjoy meals made with produce grown here and take a guided walk across the neighbouring farms to Kitengela Glass.
We can also arrange experiences around Nairobi depending on your interests, making Ololo a comfortable and flexible start to your safari.

Ololo Safari lodge is where our African story all started. Having bought the property in 2008, it took us 8 years to slowly turn it into a safari lodge, and welcome our first guests in 2016!
We live on-site, along with an incredible team of almost 50, who will make your experience at Ololo one to remember. We love meeting our guests and would love to show you around Ololo, share stories and welcome you to this beautiful country we call home.
The Masai Mara is one of Kenya's most famous wildlife areas, known for its open grasslands, abundant wildlife and wonderful opportunities for close-up game viewing.
After Ololo, head south to Enkewa Camp in the Masai Mara for four nights in the heart of the wilderness. The longer stay gives you time to explore different parts of the Mara without feeling rushed, with plenty of opportunities to follow the wildlife and enjoy the changing landscapes.
Spend your days on game drives with the Enkewa team, looking for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards and the many other animals that call the Mara home. Depending on the season, you may also see large herds of wildebeest and other migratory wildlife moving through the plains.
We encourage you to take your time here rather than trying to fit everything into a single day. Enjoy early morning drives, relaxed afternoons at camp and sundowners in the wilderness, with the flexibility to shape each day around what you would most like to see and do.

Where
Enkewa Camp is one of our favourites in the Masai Mara, if not the whole of Kenya. It's a small, owner run camp of about 9 tents, in it very own secluded location close to Sand River and the border with Tanzania. This means that you can often go on safari without seeing another vehicle for hours, which is quite special for such a famous national park.
