Welcome to the first episode of Campfire Conversations, where we bring you fascinating stories from Africa. I’m your host, Jim Chapman, founder of Ololo Safaris, and I’m thrilled to kick off this journey with a very special guest – award-winning filmmaker, Peter Coleman.
With over 30 years of experience as a cinematographer, Peter has filmed in more than 60 countries and won prestigious awards, including two Golden Tripods from the Australian Cinematographers Society. In this episode, we dive into some of Peter’s incredible projects, including Todd Sampson’s Body Hack and The Surgery Ship filmed in West Africa. We also chat about his time in Amboseli and his approach to storytelling through film.
Join us as we sit by the campfire and explore Peter’s amazing career and experiences.
