Launching our Namibian Itineraries

Safaris Travel tips

We’re really excited to share something new with you.

Over the last few years, we’ve spent a lot of time exploring Namibia, and it’s quickly become one of our favourite places in Africa. It’s very different to Kenya, much more vast, drier, and less about wildlife and more about the landscapes. It’s a country that feels vast and quiet, where you can drive for hours without seeing another vehicle, and where the landscapes are just as memorable as the wildlife.

Because of that, we’re very excited to officially launch Namibia as part of our Ololo Safaris offerings.

Namibia is all about space, scenery, and a slower pace of travel. From the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei, to the wildlife rich plains of Etosha National Park, to the rugged and remote beauty of Damaraland, every part of the journey feels completely different. It’s not a destination where you rush from place to place, it’s somewhere you take your time, settle in, and really experience.

One of the things we love most about Namibia is how varied the experience can be. You can explore with a private guide, staying in small, carefully selected camps, or you can self drive, which is one of the best and safest places in Africa to do so. Both options offer something very special, and we’re happy to help guide you on what suits you best.

We’ve put together a couple of example itineraries to give you a feel for what’s possible:

These are just starting points. As always with Ololo Safaris, every trip is completely tailored around you, your interests, your budget, and your travel dates. Whether you’re looking for something adventurous and off the beaten track, or a more comfortable lodge based journey, we can design something that fits.

Namibia is a place that really stays with you. It’s not just about ticking off wildlife sightings, it’s about the feeling of being out there, the landscapes, the silence, and the sense of space.

If you’re thinking about your next trip to Africa, or looking to return and experience something a little different, we’d love to help you plan a Namibian safari.

Just reach out to us anytime and we can start putting something together.
