The below itineraries are a guide that can provide inspiration for what your trip might look like. All of our itineraries are tailored to suit the time of year, your specific travel style, your budget and what sort of experiences you are looking for.
We love organising safaris for families! That’s because many years ago we were once a young family who were able to enjoy exploring East Africa together, and it quite literally changed our lives! There’s nothing quite like sharing these experiences with your kids, spending quality time whilst learning about African wildlife, history and cultures.
Experience the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the Masai Mara in a breathtaking journey of survival.
You will begin with three nights at Ololo Safari Lodge, a peaceful base to unwind after their journey to Kenya. Here you can head out on game drives in Nairobi National Park, visit the famous Elephant Orphanage, stroll through Ololo’s working farm, and enjoy long, lazy afternoons by the river.
From there, the real adventure begins with a three-night hike through the Loita Hills and the Great Rift Valley. Guided by local Maasai, you will walk ancient elephant trails under the forest canopy, cross open glades, and climb to panoramic peaks with endless views across the valley. Nights are spent in simple mobile camps, supported by a traditional donkey caravan, with campfire dinners under star-filled skies. It is a slow, deeply personal journey through one of Kenya’s most untouched and beautiful landscapes.
From the savannahs of Kenya to the thundering Victoria Falls, wildlife-rich Chobe and vibrant Cape Town — this journey captures the very best of Africa’s wild beauty and cultural charm.
