Stage 1

Nairobi

3 Nights

Crossing the Ololo footbridge is the beginning of a unique, once in a life time experience with all of us at Ololo.

Nights

You can choose to do as many, or as little, of the adventures we have on offer. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, visit the nearby baby elephant orphanage, or simply relax around the pool with a sundowner and bitings. Guests also enjoy a guided tour of our organic farm, that produces most of the food for your plate!

We can take you on game drives into the only national park in the world on the edge of a capital city. Nairobi National Park is a surprise package and many of these birds and animals are visible from our terrace and restaurant as they move around the bush. Ololo also takes guests to visit the renowned Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage without having to exit the national park.

You are invited to take part on an excursion to Karen to visit the famed Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre or Kazuri Beads. Or more to your inclination some shopping at local markets and boutique stores can be arranged. Anselm Hot Glass Studio and Kitengela Glass is a walk away across the neighboring farms to Ololo, with one of our Askari guides.

Amboseli > Masai Mara

1 hrs

Stage 3

Masai Mara

3 Nights

The King of the Kenyan safari, the Masai Mara is bucket-list travel down to a tee.

3

Nights

The iconic wildlife (think big cats, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra and the famous river crossings of the Great Migration from July to September) is matched by some of the most beautiful scenery in Africa – and there’s a lengthy list of activities to help you discover it all.

Morning and afternoon game drives are the bread and butter of a Masai Mara safari, and all-day expeditions are common especially during the Great Migration. There’s usually a bush breakfast under a shady tree or a mobile sundowner bar to complete the experience too. Specific to the private Mara Conservancies are walking safaris and night drives, both allowing you to get to grips with the landscape in different ways. In specific locations, early-morning hot air balloon flights are possible – definitely worth booking in advance – as are horseback safaris for varying capabilities. Finally, many camps have partnerships with local Maasai communities for a chance to join them in their daily life.

Enkewa Camp

lodge

9

Enkewa Camp is one of our favourites in the Masai Mara, if not the whole of Kenya. It's a small, owner run camp of about 9 tents, in it very own secluded location close to Sand River and the border with Tanzania. This means that you can often go on safari without seeing another vehicle for hours, which is quite special for such a famous national park.

Victoria Falls, straddling the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, is one of the largest and most awe-inspiring waterfalls in the world. Visitors can explore the surrounding rainforest, take a scenic helicopter flight, or experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the Zambezi River, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
